At the 2026 HVAC Excellence National HVACR Education Conference (March 22 to 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada), we will be displaying a training video that demonstrates how to create a simple sequence of operation (SOO) for dual-action temperature control on an emulated BAScontroller. This SOO is developed using BASemulator and Sedona Application Editor (SAE) from Contemporary Controls’ BAScontrol Toolset for our BAScontrol22D dual-Ethernet unitary controller.
The BAScontrol22D is part of our BAScontrol series of open controllers. The BAScontrollers, along with our Micro PC Edge controller series feature BACnet as the protocol and license-free Sedona as the programming language. Each series is freely programmable using the BAScontrol Toolset which is a free set of software tools that allows students to configure, test, emulate, and archive controller operation on a Windows PC.
